Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She attended The Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone was first introduced to acting when was just a child. Her roles included Me Myself and The Farm. The majority of her work was theatre; at the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she received awards for the Best Newcomer as well as Best supporting actress for her work as the character The Kid. She also worked in television as a supporting actress in All Saints and Spirited. Between 2010 and the year 2011, she starred in The Diary of a Madman in that she was once again nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at The Sydney Theatre Awards. She travelled to New York in February 2011 to perform in The Diary of a Madman, a Brooklyn Academy of Music production of The Diary of a Madman. After returning to Sydney, she played the role of the main character for the role of the lead in A Golem Story and Summer of the Seventeenth Doll.
