Kyra Minturn Sedgwick, a famous American TV and large-screen actor. She is well-known all over the globe, but is most famously in America because of her leading role in the TV series 'The Closer'. Sedgwick was a fan of art, acting as well as Broadway since she was only twelve years old. Her mother had a great passion for the Broadway and introduced her to it. Sedgwick had her first stage performance at the age of 16, as she was a part of "Another World," which was a TV show. Though she initially began with small-time roles for television but it was the idea of becoming an actress who attracted her. Her first major screen appearance was in a film called "Born on Fourth of July where she was co-starring with Tom Cruise. Sedgwick was offered more films following this success, such as: "Singles", 'Heart and Souls"and 'Phenomenon", and many more. The TV movie called 'Lemon Sky and met her husband and actor Kevin Bacon and got married to him in the age of only 22 years old. Sedgwick has made a mark on American TV with her easy acting. The Closer ran for seven seasons and earned her several awards including the Golden Globe.
